NTG2.5 Reflash firmware

First of all congratulations for your great forum. Since I don't know Russian, I am reading your forum with google translator. Anyway, I am newbie here and I would like to ask if somebody know any way to flash NTG2.5 firmware without DAS. Probably using an SD card or a CD. I have made a patched firmware and I need to reflash it back. What I am currently thinking is to remove the flash memory chips from main board, then back them up and reflash them. But this is a bloody story... So, that why I am searching for an easier way to do it :)

Finally I found the way to re-flash an official firmware on NTG2.5 by using the Engineering Menu -> SW Update and a cooked CD that I managed to create by myself. Everything is working fine and flashed successfully with an official firmware from MB Telematic CD.

The problem is when you try to flash a modified firmware. If you had modified even one byte from the original NK.BIN or NK2.BIN then you cannot flash them because you need a 2048bit signature usually written on SECURITY.DEF file. In this file there is also a checksum and a total number of kilobytes (total size of NK+NK2 / 1024) that can easily created.

So now, my question is this... Does anybody succeeded to flash any kind of firmware (Gateway, Bluetooth, AVC or Navicore) through DAS in developer mode without using signature ???? Maybe without SECURITY.DEF file????

А каким образом получилось запустить update через Инженерное меню -> SW Update

с карты как то заливают. Даже видео в движении софтом, таким образом на 2.5.
Тоже ищу на фин. основе как

As far as I know, there is an SD out there that could unlock video-in-motion on NTG2.5 but it is based on FIN (factory Identification Number) and cannot be common for all units. But I am searching for this SD even if has not my FIN. Have you ever came across?

You can easily create an update cd by cooking the official MB telematic one. All you need to do is to create a new set of CONFIG.CDI and CD_INFO.CDI files according your NTG2.5 part number and place them to the root directory of your new CD. Also the label should be "ALPINE_DVD". In the following example my NTG2.5 is a 1649014400-XXX unit:

Of course make sure that the directories of each firmware (described in CD_INFO.CDI) exists and contains the appropriate firmware files (.BIN) including the original SEQUENCE.SCR and SECURITY.DEF

Then, just burn your new cooked CD and put it in your NTG2.5. Go to Engineering menu (HANG + 6 + *) and then SW Update menu. Normally if everything is ok, the Detail and Start button will be activated. By pressing start, keep in your mind that you need about 35 minutes to complete your flash.

Thats very strange!!! Keep in your mind that error 0x2303 means that there is an incompatible firmware. The files you need to make are the following according your provided model:

Unfortunately you cannot flash a part of the above bunch. NTG2.5 refuses that. You need to flash all firmwares at the same time.

That is very strange!
When this error came? After Gateway firmware check complete? or during check? Can you upload a complete video with all procedure?

The problem appears while checking the AVCCore firmware and looks like the firmware file is not the proper one or the signature of this file is not correct, or maybe your ntg2.5 had a hardware modification... Is it an original unit or a retrofit one? And if retrofit where you bought it?

Я делал так: Взял такой же автомобиль с нужно версией, мне надо было американца по европейца сделать, и переписал еепром , после этого штатно обновил телематику и навигацию. Телематика обновилась пинком со стара раза с пятого. Остальное просто.

При начале обновления стар не ругался на не корректную версию ??

после обновления волны чётные появились с русским ?

он полность стал европейским и номер изменился у него, всё штатно получилось

если вопрос о преодолении секретного кода, то нет! просто епром поменял на другой и дальше штатно поставилось обновление телематики и карты

sorry for use English in this fourm.
I met 0x2303 error after flash AVCcore on my ntg2.5
I use 0019025900 to flash AVCcore, everything goes fine until the "check" step then it appear 0x2303 error.

I can flash NAVI/Gateway/Bluetooth without any problem, but stuck in AVC, and my ntg2.5 is not working now, always show "software missing" after boot.

Please help me to solve this problem, thanks ~~~
