Detach the little connector of the ECU and pull off the plastic cover as shown in the picture.
Locate PIN 43 of the connector, which allows communication with the ECU. To create the connection, link the K-line (yellow wire) to the Universal Cable to PIN 43 as shown in the picture below. Then connect the red wire to the positive pole of the battery (+12V) and the black one to ground (GND) using clamps.
