OK. First Install a free anti-virus (I recommend Microsoft Security Essential - is free and is very passive with keygens). Second, go to the Nexiq folder in C:\ - there are several folders. Go to the one that is named TEST. Inside you will find several apps, execute the BINLOAD. It will give you the option for 32 or 64bit OS - and underneath select option 'Enable automatic USB-Link firmware update. Once you have done this steps, you have to connect Nexiq to a truck and try to connect (with proper software) and it will give you a message if you want to upgrade firmware and BINGO!!!

Hi all after battling for days i managed to find a work around.
copy NULN2R32.ini from c :\windows to desktop
modify J1939Addresses=16
CANAutoBaud=TRUE to
J1939Addresses=16
CANAutoBaud=FALSE
save it and copy and replace NULN2R32.ini file into c:\windows
a temprory fix but it works
