How to Fix
Verify that compatibility mode is not enabled. (Information on Compatibility Mode)
Go to Windows Update, and install update KB2600217 from the Optional Updates. If it's not visible in the list, it's already installed. If you install it, launch INSITE again. If it still does not work, proceed to step 3 below.
Verify Access Database Engine 2007(or in very rare cases 2010) exists in "Add/Remove Programs".
If it is not there, check if Office 2007/2010 is installed. If neither are installed, and yet INSITE 7.6.X *is* installed, DO NOTHING ELSE, and please call the INSITE Help Desk in your area.
Uninstall the Access Database Engine and reinstall it. The installer is located on the INSITE DVD.*
Launch INSITE again. If you still receive the 10003 error, Uninstall and reinstall INSITE
If Office 2007 Access Database Engine is installed, try installing 2010 over the top of it. You do not need to uninstall 2007 first. Just install 2010. Please click on the following link to download Office 2010 Access Database Engine.
