The use of both diagnostic applications requires a special, hardware-specific StartKey, which is applied for as part of the ordering process and made available upon the purchase of either system. This key enables the diagnostic application to be run on the specific end-user device (such as a laptop) identified by its unique hardware ID when placing the order. This device must fulfill the following system requirements:
Windows-compatible PC or laptop with at least a 1 GHz processor (2 GHz or faster recommended)
At least 2 GB RAM
At least 16 GB of available hard disk space
Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher
At least 1 USB port
At least 1 LAN port
An ISDN or faster Internet connection
Operating system: Windows 7 (32 or 64-bit)
Please note:
On April 8, 2014, Microsoft will discontinue its support for Windows XP SP3.
For this reason, we will no longer be able to support Windows XP as an operating system for XENTRY Open Shell product variants (XENTRY for standard PC). Some product variants have exclusively or additionally been compatible with Windows 7 for some time now.
Therefore Update 01/2014 is the last update that can be installed and run across all products and variants on Windows XP SP3.
All updates from 03/2014 can only be installed and run on Windows 7.
Windows 8, however, is not yet supported.
Please ensure that your PC is updated to Windows 7 (SP1 or newer) in good time before you receive and load Update 03/2014.
