I need software for my car,what was earlier of Dieselgate
Please tell what software versions there was earlier.

Today I have in my car these softwares,but they not good and I want flash to earlier versions.

Я это на АК видел . Там по ЕТКА нет прямой замены на этот номер ни одного из номеров выше представленных .

What version was latest without some mistakes in soft?

Этот номер появляется после обновления по ТРI.

Can I put my pre-facelift car Dieselgate earlier soft, like 4G0907589E or this is wrong soft? Then what soft I can flash with Odis-E ?

Я бы вынул ЭБУ считал бы его в режиме Bench, и уже потом можно упражняться в зашивании FRF различных .
I would take out the ECU, read it in Bench mode, and only then you can practice sewing various FRFs.

And give the VIN number of the car - it's easier to see what software was and what is up-to-date

ЕТКА даёт номер "Е", а замену "G".
04.2020 провели обновление по акции.

Now in car "G" ,but I wish to downgrade to "E"
What these versions 001-003 the difference?
Please somebody share me the "E" software ,which I can flash with Odis.

Ты какое отношение имеешь к диагностике вообще, в целом? Если диагност, то ищи и пробуй, если ты нуль, то доверься профессионалам и не дёргайся без причины.
Что тебе не нравится в "G"? Какой разгон до 100 км/ч в секундах?

Diagnostic I can made for Vag cars,flashing with Odis only for my cars.
About facelift files I readed from another forums.
Yesterday I probed flash but Odis-e not accept these files.

Стандартным методом ODIS скорее всего не даст шить старые версии (...589A/C/E) поверх прошивки ...589G.
В файле frf содержится информация о идентах блоков допустимых для данного апдейта.
На рисунке видно, что залить прошивку G в блоки A,C и E можно, а наоборот E или A,C в блок с прошивкой G нельзя.

The standard ODIS method most likely will not let you flash old versions (...589A/C/E) over the firmware ...589G.
The frf file contains information about block identifiers valid for this update.
The figure shows that it is possible to fill firmware G into blocks A, C and E,
but vice versa E or A, C into a block with firmware G is impossible.

In my another car 2012 Q7 I can with same Odis-e upgrade or downgrade transmission soft.
Why I cant now in A6 make this?

Ask the answer to this question to the manufacturer why they did it.
They already got hit on the head once for environmental tricks.
Apparently they don't want to get it again. :shock:
These firmware problems can be bypassed, but standard equipment such as ODIS will not allow this.
The solution lies closer to the topic of chiptuning and specialists in this matter.

Maybe this “E” file can somehow mod for eating with Odis?

Do you hear something about cryptography?
You can't make modified ODX/FRF unless you have private RSA key known to manufacturer only or unless you have access to OEM smartcards/keychain.

Also :smile: it is possible if you have a quantum computer with a few thousand qubits to find the private key that matches the public key. :biggrin1:

Such an operation (writing FRF E instead of G) can easily be done, for example Flex from Magicmotorsport :wink:

Now downgraded and all works fine.
