I’m looking to adjust the
1. Which Component to Flash First: CAS or Instrument Cluster? I need to change the mileage both in the CAS (Car Access System) and the instrument cluster. Should I flash the CAS or the instrument cluster first? 2. Mileage Storage and Update: Are the mileage details stored in the key, or are they updated each time I start the vehicle? 3. CAS Color Coding: What is the significance of CAS black versus white? Does it affect the programming process? 4. Required Tools: Should I purchase a single device that can flash both the CAS and the instrument cluster, or do I need separate devices for each component? 5. Chip Concerns: I’m aware that the programming hardware needed depends on the chips used in the CAS and the cluster. While I’m okay with soldering, I’m concerned about the process of removing and replacing chips. 6. Device Options: I’ve seen various tools being used for this purpose but they are quite costly. I’m considering the following devices: - M35080 V3.0 Mileage Programmer (for BMW) - AK300+ V1.5 Key Generator (for BMW CAS) Given these considerations, which device would you recommend? Price is not a concern. |
