BMW ISTA D - Diagnostic on the bench
 

Hello of all,
I have diagnosti tool:
- BMW ISTA P / BMW ISTA D
- Diagnostic tool BMW ICOM NEXT


Can i do a module diagnostics for example ECU, TCU etc... when the modul is not mount on the vehicle. I want to make diagnostic for example on the TCU when is on the test bench (not installed on the car). I can not find the manual option when to choice the exact modul I want to diagnose. I find only automatic mode as option when the diagnostic tool receive information form the vehicle gateway for all modules.

My asking is can I make diagnostic of the modul when its on the test bench and how?
