Power and Ground Connections:Permanent Battery (+12V / Terminal 30): Connect to Large Pin 1 and Large Pin 3Ground (GND / Terminal 31): Connect to Large Pin 2 and Large Pin 4Ignition Switch (+12V / Terminal 15 WAKE-UP): Connect to Small Pin 87 (Crucial step: without +12V on pin 87, the internal microprocessor will stay asleep).2. Diagnostic CAN Bus Connections:CAN High (CAN-H): Small Pin 54CAN Low (CAN-L): Small Pin 413. Critical Bench Step (CAN Termination):Because you are working "on the bench" outside the vehicle's interior wiring harness, there is no central gateway (CGW) to terminate the communication network. You must bridge a 120-Ohm resistor directly between your CAN-H (Pin 54) and CAN-L (Pin 41) wires.
